Man in Custody Following B and E in McBride
McBride , B.C.- One man is in custody and scheduled to appear in court tomorrow to face a number of charges related to an incident on the weekend in McBride.
On Saturday May 27th 2017, McBride RCMP received a report of a suspicious vehicle. The vehicle was seen leaving a residential area at a high rate of speed. A description of the vehicle was provided to police.
McBride RCMP spotted the suspect vehicle and tried to stop it, but the vehicle sped off. Officers from Valemount and Prince George were called to assist.
Meantime, a resident of the area where the vehicle was first spotted, contacted McBride RCMP to report his home had been broken into and a number of firearms and ammunition were missing.
Members of the public then contacted police to say a suspicious man had been seen running down Clyde Pit Road. The Emergency Response Team and Police Dog Service were called to action.
The suspicious person was located and arrested, the vehicle was also discovered on a de-activated logging road.
Evidence that reflected the reported Break and Enter was gathered.
The suspect is expected to make his first court appearance tomorrow. Police are still looking for two others believed to have been involved.

And he’ll get bail or Promise to appear. Won’t get a sentence because it is not his fault! LOL
Yup, then he’ll go to Alberta and forget about it, PTA will become an FTA, warrant will issue for B.C. only. C’mon Lien, have some faith, LOL!
