Prince George, B.C.- Avery Bell  of Quesnel, has won the Gold medal  at the National  Skills Competition.

Bell  specializes in cabinetry.  Graduating from Corrlieu Secondary  in Quesnel this year,  he was  the winner of the  regional cabinet making competition held at  CNC in Prince George  in January,  and  placed  first in the Provincial Skills Competition in Abbotsford in April  before heading to the national competition in Winnipeg.

This is not his first time at the national completion,  last year  he placed third in his category.
