Prince George, B.C. – Time is running out to get your hands on a Prince George Hospice Society Silver Bucket 50/50 ticket.

Spokesperson Sanja Knezevic says the first ever draw is tomorrow at 5 p.m. (with ticket cut-off at 2 p.m.)

She says the proceeds from the draw will go to support the beds and services at the Rotary Hospice House on Ferry Avenue.

“This is our first Silver Bucket 50/50 and the reason we’re calling it that is because here at Hospice we talk a lot about life fulfilment and doing the things you want to do before you kick the bucket per se,” says Knezevic. “What would be on your bucket list that you would like to check off.”

After a slow start, she says (as of Thursday) the jackpot is sitting at around $35,000.

Tickets cost $20 (you must be 19 + to play) and can be purchased at 1506 Ferry Avenue. They will also be on sale today and tomorrow at Canadian Tire.
