Wanted Man Arrested
Prince George, B.C.- RCMP in Prince George have arrested the man they have been seeking in connection with numerous offences.
Around 1:30 this afternoon, Prince George RCMP located and arrested 29 year old Dustin Cecil Murray.
Officers attended an apartment building on the 2400 block of Upland Street specifically looking for Murray who quickly too to the roof of the building.
The officers requested the assistance of the RCMP’s Air 4 helicopter. The chopper was above the building within minutes, forcing the wanted man back into the building and into the custody of waiting officers.
Murray a resident of Prince George, was wanted for the following Criminal Code offences:
- Assault (2 counts)
- Fail to Comply with Probation (4 counts)
These charges stem from an incident that occurred on September 1st, 2016 when Police responded to a report of an assault in progress on Upland Street in Prince George. Officers attended and located an adult female victim, but the suspect, had fled the scene prior to arrival. Police say Murray has also breached release conditions from previous Criminal Code investigations.
