Storm Knocks out Power
Prince George, B.C.- As wind gusts associated with a severe thunderstorm blow through the region, a number of power outages have been reported.
In the Prince George area the largest outage at this time is west of Moldowan Forest Road impacting more than a thousand customers through Nukko Lake and Miworth.
In the City of Prince George the largest outage is West of Shearer Crescent, north of University Way and south of Eaglenest Crescent. 315 customers are without power in that area of Prince George.
Smaller outages have been reported in a number of areas. A complete list can be found here.
In all thee are 25 power outages in the region from Quesnel to Prince George. 330 customers in Hixon are off the grid, there are patches of outages along highway 97 through Stone Creek, and in the Buckhorn region.
All outages are under investigation, but there is no word yet on when power will be restored.

Weird. In CH it wasn’t even what I would call a mild storm.
Hardly any type of storm here on the Hart. A rain burst was about all. Then some drizzle.
I’m assuming you missed the large tree that fell on Dagg then? Blocked the whole road off, debris all over when I drive home.

Not much of a storm here. A few gusts of wind, then a bit of drizzle and a few more gusts and that was it.
