Washout Closes 97 North

Prince George, B.C. – Expect major delays on Highway 97 North today.
The Peace River Regional District says a washout has closed the highway in both directions 17 kilometres north of Callahazon Creek.
The highway is expected to reopen sometime between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. tonight. No detour is available.

isn’t this about the same place that washed out last year?
Callazon Ck. I have driven through the area a number of times over the past few weeks and there has been water running right over many of the side rds and along the side of the hwy in many spots where it shouldn’t be. Is it still CRS, (Can’t Repair Squat) looking after that area?
