Prince George, B.C. – Summer officially arrives in our time zone at 9:24 p.m. this evening.
The three hour time difference between B.C. and other parts of Canada means summer officially arrives in Ontario shortly after midnight tonight, (12:24 am.) kicking the season change over to June 21st , the usual first day of summer.
Environment Canada has already predicted the average temperature during the summer months in northern B.C. will be warmer than normal by perhaps a degree..
The forecast for the first full day of summer in B.C. ( June 21st) calls for sunshine, and more sunshine and warmer temps through the balance of the week.
