Police Seek Witnesses to Fatal Purden Crash

Prince George, B.C. – North District RCMP are hoping the public can help in their investigation of yesterday’s fatal crash on Highway 16 east, east of Purden Lake.
Around 4:20 Sunday afternoon, a 5 ton truck was west bound when it slowly drove off the road way and overturned on an embankment.
The passenger in the vehicle suffered severe head trauma as a result of the crash and was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver was not seriously injured.
The investigation is ongoing however police do not believe speed or alcohol to be a factor in this crash.
