Prince George, B.C. – Exploration Place has suspended operations of the Little Prince  train  until further notice.“The train is wood fired, and it throws sparks” says Exploration Place CEO Tracy Calogheros “With everything tinder dry, it just didn’t make sense to add to the worries of the fire crews.”

All other operations at the Exploration Place  are  accessible.

The BC Wildfire Service will be providing an update  on the wildfire situation  a little later today.  Earlier this morning,  Wildfire Service Chief information officer Kevin Skrepnek  said  98 new fires were sparked yesterday,  bringing the total  number of fires in B.C.  to 230.
