Northern Sport Centre Closed to Members and Public

Prince George, B.C. – The Charles Jago Northern Sports Centre is closing its doors to the general public and to members.
Effective 1 p.m. today, the facility will only be available to evacuees needing group lodging as part of Prince George’s response to the wildfire activity.
The decision to close the facility to the public and members was made to ensure evacuees have a private, secure place in which they can rest and recover during a very trying time. The closure also allows other areas of the facility to be used to support evacuees as the situation unfolds.
The NSC will look at providing partial rebates to its membership, depending upon the duration of the closure.
The closure is in effect until further notice.
