Prince George, B.C.- The City of Prince George  has added a special  webpage to its website  to provide the latest information for  evacuees and area residents.

The  page,  which can be accessed by clicking here,  will provide up to date information evacuees need to know,  as well as  provide links to  important  web sites, facebook and twitter.

The page also offers  information for  Prince George residents on  how they can  help  in this situation.

Maybe add a section where they can go to get public donations. A lot of people are collecting from donors and would be a good place to throw up info where they can go to get something once they come to town with only what they could stuff into a car.

I see we have many RVs coming to our city due to fire conditions. Maybe the mayor and council could explain to the people where our wonderful san-station is so that they can empty their holding tanks and fill with fresh water. There is no reason not to have a free useable station in the downtown area. A small city campground for rv’s would also be a plus for tourists and the situation we are dealing with now.

I hope that CNC is waiving parking fees.

I have learned that CNC is indeed waiving parking fees for evacuees.
