Farmers Market to Hold Fundraiser for Wildfire Evacuees

Prince George, B.C. – The Wilson Square Farmers Market, which sets up each weekend at the Native Friendship Centre, is hoping to raise some dollars this weekend for those impacted by the wildfires.This coming Saturday, July 15th, the market will be giving free hot dogs to children ten years old and under, while supplies last.
There will also be a grilled salmon and scrambled egg breakfast baguette, that will be sold by donation. All proceeds will be donated to the fire-relief fund.
Several vendors at the market will also be doing individual fund-raising, with up to 50% of their proceeds of the day going to the fire-relief fund as well.
The market is open at the Prince George Native Friendship Centre on 3rd Ave, Saturdays, 8:30 am to 2:00 pm, with free parking next to the market.
