Prince George, B.C. – A Prince George man is facing sex related charges following an investigation that started earlier this month.

Prince George RCMP Cpl. Craig Douglass says the investigation started after police received a report that a young boy had allegedly been sexually assaulted by an adult male.

Because of that investigation, police arrested 34-year-old Tanner James Dick of Prince George.

Dick is facing the following charges:

• Sexual interference (touching someone under the age of 16 with a sexual purpose)
• Sexual assault

“Investigators believe that other victims or witnesses are in the community and have not yet come forward,” says Douglass. “Parents are asked to speak to their children, especially those that may know Tanner Dick. Those with information are asked to come forward to help officers further the investigation.”

In the meantime, Dick has been remanded in custody at least until his next court appearance scheduled for tomorrow.
