Prince George, B.C.- Canfor’s  community breakfast,  set for this Saturday  won’t be taking place at the JD Little Nursery  as initially planned.The free breakfast was to celebrate the JD Little Nursery’s 35th anniversary.   But  with the events of the past week,  and the number of families  displaced by the wildfires,   the company has decided to  change its plans.

The  event for the general public  has been cancelled,  instead, Canfor willbe directing  the catering and supplies to  the CNC Evacuation centre,  and  nursery staff will be there to  serve  breakfast  to the evacuees who have  arrived in Prince George.

Canfor  says it  will  have a belated  party for the nursery staff at a later date.
