Prince George, B.C. – Evacuees who’ve fled wildfires in the Cariboo are invited to a town hall tonight at the Canfor Theatre at UNBC.

It will start at 8 p.m. and will be simulcast to Room 1-306 at the College of New Caledonia and the Wolf Den at the Charles Jago Northern Sport Centre.

The event will also be livestreamed at http://www.unbc.ca/livestream but evacuees must be at the Canfor Theatre if they wish to ask questions.

Updates will be provided by the BC Wildfire Service, the Cariboo Regional District and Northern Health.

The event will be MCed by Prince George Mayor Lyn Hall. As of early this afternoon, the City of Prince George says 6,029 evacuees have arrived in Prince George.
