Prince George, B.C. –  The Province of B.C. has set  up a number of  evacuation centres  to  take  the pressure off  both Prince George  and Kamloops.

In addition to the  centres in Prince George and Kamloops,  the Province has  established  nine other  emergency centres in the following communities:

• Barriere :   4936 Barriere Town Road
• Chilliwack:  Chilliwack Secondary School  46363 Yale Road
• Kelowna:  1480 Sutherland Avenue
• Lilloet:   Lilloet Fire Hall, 570 Main
• Merritt:   Merritt Civic Centre  1950 Mamett Avenue
• Penticton:  Penticton Community Centre  325 Power Road
• Princeton:  Riverside Community Centre  148 Old Hadley Road
• Surrey:   Coloverdale Arena,  6090  – 176th St. Cloverdale
• Vernon:  Vernon Curling Rink 3400 – 39th Avenue
