Prince George, B.C. – Another community from  Alberta has stepped up to help displaced wildfire evacuees in British Columbia.

Last week, two residents from Fort McMurray arrived in Prince George bearing supplies for first responders and evacuees.  This week it’s Wayne Ghostkeeper and Don Willier of Slave Lake bringing goods and signatures of residents and children sending their best wishes to the evacuees here.

“We went through this in 2011,” said Wayne. “Don even lost his house.”

This isn’t the first time the pair has lent a helping hand, last year, in the same trailer, they delivered supplies to Lac La Biche in support of those affected by the Fort McMurray fire.
