Prince George, B.C. – The Cariboo Regional District has issued an Evacuation Alert for the North Green Lake area.

The alert is issued for the area east of Highway 97 to Little Green Lake, approximately 3 kms north following the shoreline of Green Lake, including Watch Lake.  See map at  http://bit.ly/2tTjFJG

The Evacuation Alert is issued to prepare residents to evacuate premises and property should it become necessary.  Residents will be given as much advance notice as possible prior to evacuation, however notice may be limited by changing conditions.
