Huble Homestead Set to Host ‘Homestead Days’
Prince George, B.C. – Huble Homestead is getting set to host its longest running event this long weekend – Homestead Days.
“It has a real special place in our hearts over here at Huble. It’s the weekend where we invite you to take a step into 1915 and see how we celebrate Prince George’s pioneers,” says operations manager Krystal Leason.
“So, we aim to make this weekend our most historic weekend where we invite you to do heritage demonstrations with us, play old-fashioned games that they would have played 100 years ago. There’s games and races for everybody and prizes.”
And as always, she says it’s family friendly fun.
“There’s a lot of opportunity for kids to run around, have fun on the grass, make some crafts. The dog is welcome of course. It’s a good time for everybody.”
Homestead Days takes place this Sunday and Monday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Admission is by donation. The suggested donation for each family is $10.
