Police Seek Horse Thief
Prince George, B.C.- RCMP in Prince George are hoping the public can provide information on those responsible for stealing a horse from the Exhibition grounds in Prince George.
Yesterday morning, police were notified that a Quarter Horse gelding, had been taken from the Prince George Exhibition Grounds sometime the previous night.
Around 11 am yesterday, officers were advised the horse had been located by a stable in the back yard of a residence on Explorer Crescent in Prince George, about 2.5 kilometres from the Exhibition Grounds.
The horse (shown in photo at right, image courtesy PG RCMP) was returned to the grounds unharmed.
Police are continuing this investigation and are requesting the public’s help identifying the person or persons responsible.
