Scream Leads to Arrest of Three
Prince George, B.C. – Three people are in custody following the search and seizure of a number of firearms and some drugs.The investigation by Prince George RCMP started earlier this week, when the RCMP received a report of screams coming from an area on Spruce Street.
Police attended the residence that was the suspected source of the scream and found several people inside. None appeared to be in distress but police say there was evidence of firearms and drugs.
A search warrant was obtained, and a search of the premises resulted in the seizure of a loaded SKS rifle with prohibited magazine, a loaded ‘sawed off’ shotgun, and an unloaded ‘sawed off’ shotgun and ammunition. Small amounts of methamphetamine and cocaine were also seized.
Three people were arrested.
Provincial Crown Counsel has approved the following Criminal Code charges against 39 year old Dean Reginald Anderson and 37 year old Brandy Leah Forget, both of Prince George:
- Possession of a Prohibited Firearm without a Licence
- Carrying a Concealed Prohibited Device
22 year old Chad Quaw of Prince George is facing the following charges:
- Fail to Comply with Recognizance (3 counts)
- Fail to comply with Probation (4 counts)
All three are being held in custody until their next court appearance which is scheduled for August 16th.
