60th Anniversary at PWB

Prince George, B.C. – Pacific Western Brewing is holding its 60th anniversary celebration today and everyone is invited to attend.
There is an open house underway until 2:30 pm on the PWB grounds that is open to the entire family. There is a free barbecue lunch as well as entertainment and activities for youngsters. There are speeches and a cake cutting at 1pm and you can take tours to learn how the brewery works.

There is a face painting tent for the kids this afternoon.
Later tonight there is a 60th anniversary party featuring the music of April Wine, Trooper and Audio Union of Prince George. Gates open at 5:30 pm and the concert is a 19 years and older event.
Tickets are $40.

Wise move that they cancelled the fireworks.
