Prince George, B.C. – The Cariboo Regional District has expanded two Evacuation Orders following the advance of wildfires Saturday night.

The first order covers the area from Alexis Creek to Riske Creek and replaces the Highway 20 from west of Hanceville to Riske Creek order issued at 8:45 pm Saturday.

The evacuation route is Highway 20 to Williams Lake.

You must leave immediately and register at the ESS Centre in Williams Lake at Boitano Mall.  Those requiring group lodging are to continue on to the ESS Reception Centre in Prince George at the Civic Centre, 808 Canada Games Way.

The CRD has also issued and Evacuation Order for the Canim Lake area, from Bates Road to Mahood Lake Road.

The evaucation route is Canim Lake south, left on Canim-Hendrix Road to 100 Mile House of Kamloops.

Register at the ESS Centre at 100 Mile House at the Curling Club at #2-175B Wrangler Way, or at the ESS Centre in Kamloops at the Sandman Centre at 300 Lorne Way.i
