I pretty well stopped going to this years ago, drunks, undesireables and the same old thing year after year. I do hope it is a success for the kids though as it is all about them!

Through the power of positivity, we have been blessed once again with a post from Neil. There are no drunks at the fair on Thursdays, or Friday afternoons, or Saturday afternoons, or Sunday at all. Likely there will be 1 or 2 on Friday or Saturday night having a good time. As for “undesirables” I can only imagine what you meant by that, being the upstanding citizen that you are. Have a great weekend on your motorcycle, please don’t ride and rant, it’s very dangerous.

Some can’t see the forest for the trees, but I as well have been disgusted by drunk and high alike, and security has booted a few out.

Is the bike loud?

Hey Matt, when I went there it was late afternoons, as this was the only time I could get away! Like I stated, it was years ago when the beer gardens was going full bore. My observations only, as I am more cynical then the average person due to career choices! And I also said it is good for the kids, so read the whole thing, not just what you want to bud. As for my bike, had an awesome trip to Sturgis, and NO it is not loud. :)

Wonderful to read the hurting of animals (rockin rodeo ) for entertainment will not occur this year . Let’s hope that becomes a tradition .

Ahhhhhh….the fair. Where people go to be outsmarted by a guy who lives in a travel trailer. Where people go to take their lives into their own hands by having their meat vessels thrust through the air on a rickety old machine that’s been hauled down the road a million miles, taken apart and put back together again a thousand times all run by a guy who spent more time in a tattoo chair than in a classroom. Ahhhhh….the fair.

    That was way funny!
I will go, just to meet friends I haven’t seen in a while, check out the local food trucks, check out the rodeo, animals, and of course the agricultural contests. Good way to pass a couple hours.

I am very disappointed that Srs Day was not even mentioned in the fair advertising and is not mentioned in the above story. The Prince George Council of Seniors sponsored Seniors Day in Kin three today. Over 50 services for seniors were on display as well as a food garden for sandwiches, treats and beverages. Any seniors that I spoke to at the event were more than impressed with the event. I am sure that this event was good for attendance at the fair. All the work that went into this event was ignored by many. Shame.
