Kamloops, B.C. – Residents of Loon Lake will be allowed to go home soon.

This as the Thompson-Nicola Regional District announced today they will partially rescind their evacuation order for the area beginning at 1 p.m. tomorrow to an evacuation alert due to the declining threat of wildfires.

Residents of the following areas are affected:

• 1400 to 3250 Loon Lake Road

• 2970 to 3103 Stevens Road

The evacuation order has been in place since July 14.
