Prince George, B.C. – The Cariboo Regional District says some Evacuation Orders issued due to wildfires in the region have now been downgraded to Alerts.

Portions of the orders in the East of Titetown Area to CRD Westerly Boundary Area and the Kluskus, Blackwater, Clisbako, Nazko Area are being rescinded and replaced by an Alert Area which can be found at the following CRD Emergency Operations Centre site:  http://bit.ly/2iCxB5U

The regional district also advises that not all evacuation orders have been changed to alerts.  It also says residents in alert areas should note that due to continuing fire control activity access to some areas may be limited and is at the discretion of personnel at designated checkpoints.
