Evacuation Order Expanded Along Hwy 24 Corridor

Williams Lake, B.C. – Effective immediately , the Cariboo Regional District has expanded an evacuation order for the Highway 24 Corridor. This order replaces the South of Highway 24 Area order issued Wednesday August 30, 2017 at 1:00 pm.
Due to immediate danger to life safety, members of the RCMP or other groups will be expediting this action.
The evacuation route is: Horse Lake Road and Highway 24 to Highway 97
- Register with Emergency Support Services (ESS) in 100 Mile House at the South Cariboo Recreation Centre (175 Wrangler Way)
- If you require group lodging, please continue on to Williams Lake. Group lodging will be available at the Gibraltar Room in the Cariboo Memorial Complex. (525 Proctor Street)
- RVs and Camper units are welcome at 100 Mile House
