Team Ready to Roll

Prince George, B.C.- The  Cops for  Cancer Tour de North rolls out of Williams Lake  today  as  the team cycles  to Dawson Creek in this annual fundraiser.

This is the 16th year for the Tour de North, which raises dollars for  paediatric cancer  research and Camp Goodtimes .

From Williams Lake this morning, the team will make its way to Quesnel,  and is set to  arrive in Prince George tomorrow.

A Jail and Bail event is  set  for noon to 4 pm in Prince George at  Northland Dodge on  Wednesday.

The Team is made up of RCMP members,  BC Ambulance Service,  Sheriff’s  Service, as well as  three community  members.

The week long ride wraps up in Dawson Creek on Monday the 18th.

So far, the team has raised just  under $146 thousand dollars,  that’s 72% of their  goal for this year.
