Canada Games Plaza to ‘Rock’ This Saturday
Prince George, B.C.- The City of Prince George has released the details of its bash to thank the hundreds of volunteers who stepped up to help the 10 thousand wildfire evacuees who made Prince George their home over the summer.
As 250News reported on the weekend, the event is set for Saturday, the 23rd at Canada Games Plaza from 4-9:30 PM.
DJ Ant will kick off the evening from 4:00pm until 6:00pm.
The headline act will be Glass Tiger with special guest Barney Bentall.
As of this week, the City is now down to one Cariboo evacuee who continues to receive services. This final evacuee is scheduled to return home this week.
The ‘Thank You PG’ party will feature a free barbeque throughout the event provided by Save-On-Foods and cooked on Integris and Husky Energy barbeques.

- 4:00pm to 6:00pm DJ Ant
- 6:00pm to 7:00pm Barney Bentall
- 7:30pm Mayor’s welcome and speeches
- 8:00pm Glass Tiger
- 9:30pm event ends
