Prince George, B.C. - On May 27th of this year Fraser Lake RCMP began an investigation into the disappearance of 59 year old Brian Cretney, of Prince George.

Cretney was dropped off at the Knapp Lake Forest Rd., south of Fraser Lake on or about May 13th. He was planning to hike into Knapp Lake from the road.

He was carrying a large black hockey bag with food for a couple of days and planned to return to Prince George before the long weekend. He has not been heard from since.
