Prince George, B.C. – Gas prices in Prince George have slipped, but take some time to find the best deal.

At 5^th and Carney the Petro Can and the Shell station are both offering gas at 142.9 a litre, while at the Esso at 5^th and the bypass it is 143.9. Downtown, the Super Save station on Victoria and 10^th is selling gas for 141.9

The new prices are all down from the Friday mark of 145.9

A reasonably accurate presentation of gas prices around the city, province or country can be obtained from the bcgasprices website.

And yet it's 139.9 in Vanderhoof. Plus a 4 or 5 cent per litre grocery credit. Gotta love the gouging in PG.

The only thing I have to complain about regarding the weather is why we pay people to tell us what the weather will be doing over the next week. When was the last time they got that right?

It can be pouring rain out and the local stations report a 50% chance of rain later this afternoon.
