I still by mine at Walmart for 12.00/pair.
They last just as long as the 80.00 shoes.
YIPPEE!! yet another shoe store to go with the other 5 we already have in the mall!!
Every time they announce new stores in the new strip malls its always the same tired stores we have now in another location-shopping sucks in this town.
It's always good to get another store in town that we don't already have 5 or 6 of. But Pine Centre definitely has enough shoe and jewellery stores.

I keep hearing rumours that Old Navy might come to town. Now that would be something I would be excited to see.
I would like to see at least one mens clothing store ( not talking work wear or business apparell)in the mall....or somewhere
but I think I am out voted by the younger set and their fashions...
Good promotional ad for the new store. Yet another shoe store? Does the name Marcos ring a bell?
Old Navy? Same old stuff. Stores catering to the younger set? They're the only ones with 100% disposable income.

The rest of us have to pay bills, buy gas, mortgages and groceries. We're not supporting those stores. The younger set is. Look at the merchandise in Pine Centre. I barely go there anymore. There's nothing there for me.

Blunstones nice, those are great shoes. Dont think to many other places sell them in pg except the horse in th sky.

Woot woot
Old Hippy:-"Yet another shoe store? Does the name Marcos ring a bell?"

You mean the infamous Imelda, the former grossly over-shod First Lady of the Philippines? What did she have, somewhere around two-thousand pairs of shoes? I remember reading one time that she'd have to change shoes five or six times a day, every day of the year, just to be able to wear them all! Her feet couldn't have stunk THAT bad! Even in the climate of the Philippines.

Imagine the closet space they must've taken up at Malocanang Palace. Poor old Ferdinand would hardly have room enough for his uniforms, and golf clubs, and all the other trappings of power a third world dictator has to have.

And then came the revolution, and Imelda and hubby were whisked away to safety in Hawaii, sans shoes. Wonder if Corrazon Aquino's feet were the same size?

Or maybe they re-distributed them to "the people". Though that might've been hard to do. There being more shoeless Phillipinos than there were shoes. Oh well, no problemo, we'll be fair, the first four thousand ladies in line get one shoe each!

I'm so pleased they have come to town! Before you blast their existence, give them a try - they are not at all like the other shoe stores in the mall.
Just my experience, but money spent on GOOD shoes is well worth it if you value your feet, back and basically most every other part of your body that takes the impact of walking or running. I walked through this particular store a while back and they had a pretty good selection of nice shoes and the prices seemed decent for what you were getting.

I also agree with BCRacer in that another mens clothing store would be VERY nice to see.
good shoes are important and the prices are decent. I have no problem shopping there and am happy to see a shoe store with good quality, good prices.

Old Navy would be nice too. Hard to find clothes for my 11 year old girl - too small yet for young women's sizes, but too old to wear pink. Ever notice how everything out there for little girls is pink pink pink, and maybe purple?

Some variety would be nice in that mall.
