Nazko Fire Contained

Quesnel, B.C. - The fire 24 kilometers south of Nazko, has been contained.
News from the Cariboo Fire District this morning, is that the fire has been contained, thanks in part to overnight rain.
There are 47 forestry personnel on the fire and the firefighters are continuing to extinguish hot spots around the perimeter of the fire today.
Five pieces of heavy equipment are on standby as support in case of any flare-ups.
An investigator is now trying to determine the cause of this fire which consumed nearly 100 hectares.Five pieces of heavy equipment are on standby as support in case of any flare-ups.
