Forest For the World Trails Face Closure

Prince George, B.C- One of the most popular trail systems in Prince George, will be impacted while crews deal with  mountain pine beetle  kill removal.
 
The trails in Forests for the World will be affected by planned harvesting operations set to begin early this month.
 
TDB Consultants and Industrial Forestry Services crews will be working in Forests for the World to remove pine killed by the mountain pine beetle and to conduct fire fuel management treatments.
 
While forestry operations are being carried out, trails will be closed.
 
Signs will be posted to indicatewhich areas of the park are closed. The work will be conducted in phases in order to minimize disruption to trail users.
 
Trail users are being urged to obey the signs as the trail closures are for the safety of park users and crews working.
