Burn baby burn, I could use the overtime.
Gee, Your statement encapsulates all that is wrong with our society in a nutshell.
Hopefully you spoke out in jest. I would not want to see someone lose their home in a wildfire so that you can supplement your income...but that's just me.
Gee, did you see me write that I wanted someones home to burn? surely you jest.
What is it with some people that seem to always read crap into peoples posts that aren't there?

Your post encapsulates all that is wrong with our society.
Iliteracy is rampant.
The more I reread your post the more I shake my head at you for even thinking someone would write what you wrote.
Sorry lostfaith but I take fires and their aftermath seriously so I may have been a little knee jerk in my reaction. Maybe your remark was meant to be funny and I just didn't get it. I wasn't looking to read any crap into it. Maybe others saw it as an innocuous comment and I just have no sense of humor. Peace out.
A good fire is what we need in this region from a forest health prespective im sure lostfaith could back me up on that one.
Forest fires are a natural part of most ecosystems. Forest fires used to be left to their own until the forest companies convinced governments to fight them to protect the timber for it's value. Fire also used to take care of bug problems as well, the natural way. The pine beetle epidemic is mans fault due to corporate greed. Fire used to take care of the excess fuel on the forest floor minimizing the potential for huge fires.
Fire is a healthy thing and was here before we were. Some species of trees require fire to have their cones open to spread their seeds, it doesn't happen that way much anymore.
