Prince George, B.C.-   Environment Canada  has upgraded the severe weather watch to a weather warning:

Severe thunderstorm warning forPrince George issued

A severe thunderstorm has developed east of the city of Prince George and is moving northeastward at 40 km/h. Another severe thunderstorm is developing south of Vanderhoof and is moving northeastward at 40 km/h. Wind gusts to 90 km/h..Heavy downpours..Large hail and intense lightning are associated with these thunderstorms.

This is a warning that severe thunderstorms are imminent or occurring in these regions. Remember some severe thunderstorms produce tornadoes.
