So, we feed them and house them and make sure they are warm at night...our tax dollars hard at work here. How many times do they have to appear in court? Until their lawyer finds a way to get them off and put them back on the streets again? THIS is what is wrong with our system.
Catching people, charging them and jailing them is what is "wrong" with the justice system? What the hell else is it for, then?
They have appeared in court several times now...why is that??
P.G. Girl,
There may be several more appearances before there is a trial. There will be appearances to ask for bail, there will be others to set the type trial, change lawyers, etc. set trial dates, or change trial dates.
If there is a trial ( presuming all three plea not guilty) it likely won't happen until the fall. We will do our best to keep you up to date on when they appear in court, so no one forgets the story.

To add to this thread, its called due process. Something every citizen is entitled to. Whether or not you think thats right or not is a moot point.

That lady holding the scales of justice wears a blindfold for a reason.
Yes, the justice system was designed to protect the innocent, who said "it is better to let a (hundred) guilty men go free than to convict one innocent man. It is when the prosecuters and attorneys don't do their jobs properly (you know, bargain lunches, etc) that the system falls apart. Once proven guilty - the hammer should come down, and stay down.
totaly agree but the old saying should also be remembered "justice delayed is justice denied" At times it sure does seem to take a long time to bring the accused to trail.
Just give ém a fair trial, then we'll hang 'em.
