Fleeing Man Adds New Meaning To Word Taking Off

Prince George- Police have arrested a 33 year old male in connection with a series of fraudulent credit card transactions. The suspect a parolee who had been ,”at large” since November of 2007 arrived in Prince George  aboard a West Jet  flight on August 11th.

Since that arrival he had purchased over $10,000 dollars worth of products and service fraudulently.

He was arrested on board an Air Canada flight bound for Vancouver on August 12th . As he was being brought off the plane he bolted and then fled on foot down the southbound runway. He was taken in custody after a short pursuit.

At the time of his arrest, he was in possession of several counterfeit credit cards, traveler’s cheques and at least one very convincing source of false ID.  He also was in possession of a key designed to open mail boxes.

He is in custody facing a number of charges.
