100 Mile House, B.C. -  A major  grow-op has been busted  near 100 Mile House.

RCMP from 100 Mile , with help fron North District RCMP, obtained a search warrant for a rural property and executed that search warrant last week.

Nearly 15,000 marijuana plants were located in 23 greenhouses on the property on Wilson Lake Road property in Bridge Lake.  Six adult males were arrested on the property without incident and are facing charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking and Production of a Controlled Substance, pending charge approval from Federal Crown Counsel.

No names will be released at this time. The investigation is continuing.

RCMP say the plants could have produced  between 2.5 million and 5 million marijuana cigarettes.

"RCMP say the plants could have produced between 2.5 million and 5 million marijuana cigarettes."

Way too funny.
Imagine how wonderful things would have been if they simply legalized the stuff.
Apparently the charged individuals are walking around as of now. But they have to appear in court in October. Might take the cops that long to empty the greenhouses. Then they can start the paperwork. And I don't mean rolling papers. Ha ha ha!
Now just think if this was TAXABLE sigh!!Been fighting this war for years and all they want to do is more studies, well roll one out of this bust and give us a smoke report atleast.
the war on drugs EH! If I ran for Mayor and each toker voted for me,free the weed .
