Prince George, B.C. – On your mark, get set, walk, run, relay, stroller or wheelchair!
The 35th Annual Labour Day Classic is set for tomorrow.   Whether you are running for glory or just want to participate, there are categories for everyone.

They include the 17 Mile Run, 8.5 Mile Run, 5 km Run , 8.5 Mile Walk , 8.5 Mile Parent With Stroller, 3 X 3 Mile Relay and the Kids 1km Fun Run.

Those looking to register still have time as the deadline will be from 4:00pm to 6:00pm Saturday during the package pick up at the Civic Centre.

There is a cost for registration which Jackie Stokes, an event organizer says goes back into the event, “Registration covers things like the Civic Centre rental fee, the banquet and permit fees. If there is a surplus we donate it to a sports related event. A few years ago we donated it to the Carney Hill sports equipment rental program.”

Although the race started as the PG to Boston race which was run from Salmon Valley to Spruceland, it has been modified over the years to start at the Civic Centre. Those doing 17 miles will complete two loops of the route.

Where do I sign up for the beer course
8.5 miles, this is for the fun of it. Sorry man, if I have to work that hard, I would need to get paid.
