Prince George, B.C.- Former President of the Chamber of Commerce in Prince George, Garth Frizzell, has decided he will take a shot at landing a seat on City council.

Frizzell is the President of Terra Cognita a software systems company in Prince George.

Frizzell  says this is a time of change for Prince George, "You know, the  five major employers in this city have undergone a change in leadership, Northern Health, School District 57, UNBC, the College, and the City.  it is also a time of change  for the economy."  He says he offers a "reasoned" approach.

Frizzell says he wants to  focus on  seizing economic opportunites, and bringing about positive change to deal with some of the social issues facing the City.  "I looked at my family coat of arms the other day, and the motto is 'We're ready' I think that is true about Prince George,  it's time, and we're ready!"

 Those confirmed to run are:
Incumbents:
Debora Munoz

Scary..

Or how about, "My fear is we might get what we deserve."
"Seizing economic opportunities"? Is that kinda like an engine seizing? As in it doesn't function any more? He might be right. As has been proven in the past.
even scarier,who's running for mayor??
Another self serving individual!!
Who is supposed to run if every time someone is willing to put themselves out there and try, you get inane comments like those above? If it was an easy job, everyone would do it. At least someone with some glimmer of a vision is willing.
If you've ever met Garth you'd know that he's got a good head on his shoulders. This is the kind of change of leadership PG needs! If I was still in town, I'd be voting for him.
Is vision the problem in Prince George? Or is carrying out the vision the problem?
No problem with Garth...
get rid of the left wing losers that are currently on council, we all know who they are, they have destroyed downtown in my opinion
