Developing ground rules, and structure those are the primary tasks for Elizabeth Andersen of Industrial Forest Services Ltd. She has been appointed as the Interim Manager for the Omineca Beetle Action Coalition
“OBAC needed to get a full-time interim manager in place right away in order to lead the work establishing the formal structure of the coalition’s Board and Advisory Group”, said OBAC Chair Len Fox.
Beginning November 14th, Ms. Andersen’s approach will be to facilitate OBAC discussions with community leaders, industry and key stakeholders and to continue discussions with First Nations in the Vanderhoof region "To see where we might be able to collaborate on certain tasks that are common between the First Nations MPB Strategy and OBAC’s work”, said Mayor Fox.
The OBAC hopes to hire a permanent manger this winter or early spring.
