Northern Linen Fire Cause Unknown

Prince George Fire Department  Deputy Chief Dale Kronebusch says investigators will  put the cause of  this week's Northern Linen fire as "undetermined".

The morning blaze started in the bathroom of one of the offices, but what actually sparked the flames may never be known.

Insurance companies are now left to handle the claim, which  for the building alone is expected to  hit $1 million dollars, there is no estimate yet for the claim on contents.

Flames ripped through the building at 2nd and Victoria Wednesday.  

Firefighters say  the building had so many false ceilings and walls because of  renovations over the building's long life, that the fire "went sideways" and was more difficult to contain  than expected.
