Today is voting day in Canada. We cannot, nor can you, make a pitch as to who you believe people should vote for or who will form the next government, that is against the law.

You will notice that we have cut comments dealing with election issues to reflect that order.

We do however want to encourage you to head to the polls today to cast your ballot for the party that you believe will best serve your interests in Ottawa and the country.

In this area, there are two ridings, Prince George –Peace River and Cariboo- Prince George. The polls are open from 7:00 this morning until 7:00 pm. tonight at which time Opinion 250 will swing into action to bring you national, regional and local results.

At that point you are welcome to comment on any matter dealing with the election, how you felt it went, or your thoughts for the future.

Our main effort will be focused in this region and the constituency to our west, Skeena- Bulkley Valley.

Make an effort to get to the polls to make your vote heard. You cannot complain about government unless you make a conscious effort to be heard.

I’m Meisner and that’s one man’s opinion.
