Six People Escape Burning Home On Norranda Rd.

Prince George - Six people escaped serious injury early this morning when fire broke out at a home at 2444 West Norranda Rd in Prince George just before 1am.
The six people were in the home at the time of the fire, one resident, the mother was treated at the scene while her five children were taken to PGRH for examination.
The cause of the fire is not known. 18 fire fighters from four halls responded to the fire were they discovered smoke coming from the bottom floor window.
An investigation into the cause of the fire has been launched. Damage is estimated at $100,000.
