The Mayor of Houston, Sharon Smith failed to make a dent in the fortunes of the NDP in the Skeena –Bulkley riding tonight. Nathan Cullen broke out of the gate in the lead and never looked back as he was re-elected to the seat which covers a large area of central and coastal part of BC.

Sharon Smith faced two challenges, one a comment by MP Dick Harris that if you want something done you would be better off talking to Smith than Cullen and a picture of the Mayor sitting in the Mayors chair in Houston wearing only the chains of office. That image was widely circulated across the internet

Ha ha, the naked truth of it all.
Sitting naked in the mayor's big chair while harmless in itself, does show a serious lack of good judgement.
Not exactly an admirable quality for a politician.
All "flash" and no substance perhaps?
Buddy said Smith came knocking on his door looking for support and he had a hard time keeping a straight face.
;-)
Better having a sexy lady than someone like Trudeau legalizing some real kinky stuff.

I'd shake hands with the sexy lady, but I'd have to disinfect the porch if the likes of Trudeau came knocking.
Sexy lady????????????
Spent time this summer in Terrace, Cullen is visible and available to his constituents. Lots of union folks at the smelter, pulp mill, and government offices. Yama must lock his doors when he drives through this area.
There are many of these photos out there. The biggest thing here was she never once apoligized to the many people that she offended by doing the dirty deed.
Instead went on the attack and said the pics were stolen???No one was ever charged(it was her son and their stupidy that let the pics get out)just google mayor sharon smith and it shows up.ignorance is no excuse and all they would have had to say was sorry and maybe this horrible mess would have blown over. Look what it cost?? Not that I think SS would have been able to unseat Nathan Cullen the rising star in federal politics according to many newspapers.
