Taunia Hartt  dressed as "Jackie O'Lantern" and Kim Ward-Robberts as the Fitness Witch  enjoy the efforts of  Students at CNC

Prince George, B.C.-  Students and staff at  the College of New Caledonia celebrated Halloween over the  lunch hour today with a pumpkin carving  contest,  silent auction and  costumes.

Many of the foreign students were thrilled to have an opportunity to carve a pumpkin as they have never  carved a pumpkin  before.

 ( at right one of the creations that was available through silent auction)

There were also pumpkins  available  for  purchase through a silent auction with all proceeds going to  the United Way
