Two Dead In Semi- Car Crash On Alaska Highway

Ft Nelson -   Two people are dead,  and the Alaska Highway is closed about 80 kilometres south of Ft Nelson.
 
The accident occurred at 10:15 this morning on icy roads which earlier resulted in a Bus leaving the highway and rolling over injuring three people.
 
Police say the latest crash involved a tractor trailer and a passenger vehicle.
 
Two people were pronounced dead at the scene, another passenger has been taken to hospital in Ft Nelson.
 
The identity of those involved in the crash or whether they were riding in the transport truck or the passenger vehicle has not been released.
 
Icy roads have resulted in poor driving conditions on the Alaska Highway

Not driving for the road conditions??
A quick glance at the damage to the vehicle involved, would lead a person to suspect that it was travelling at the posted highway speed.
My condolences to all involved. Very tragic indeed.
