Metal art of Christmas trees one of the highlights of the  Studio Fair

Prince George, B.C. - The 32nd annual Studio Fair  is under way in Prince George and it has some new vendors.  Metal art,  ( like the  Christmas tree sculptures above), and "Rock Birds" for your garden were a hit.

The fair offers plenty of pottery, woven scarves and sweaters,  jewellry  made of old cutlery,  fleece clothing,  shearling slippers wooden toys,  coats for your pet, chocolate covered blueberries and apricots,  walking sticks,  classic sock moneys,  pressed floral framed pictures,   turned wood,  paintings, sketches, photographs,  crystal jewellry, recycled bottles,  chocolate treats,  home made  preserves,  wine based jellies and spreads, quilted everything,  hand made tree ornaments for your Christmas tree, beautiful  leather luggage and purses, candles, spices, blankets, framed art, and much more!

I heard that the crafts people at the craft fair at UNBC where not allowed to studio fair. One way to kill the competition. Why does one have to pay 5 bucks to attend the craft fair to buy something? I don't pay money to get into save-on.
Not entirely correct, Studio fair is a juried arts fair where the proceeds from the admission go to the Community Arts Council of Prince George. The UNBC show proceeds support the Timberwolves athletics. Both excellent organizations in the community.
Look at the mark up that you pay at Save on to support Pattison before you use the same analogy. the upfront cost that you pay as admission goes directly to the Arts Council.
The restriction of the UNBC participants not being able to participate in Studio Fair is a board decision by the Community Arts Council and one that was designed for the uniqueness of the show
It was a good one and I had a nice time so did a lot of other people, it was nice to see some different stuff.
This was the best Studio Fair I've been to in a long time. Thanks to everyone who works hard to make it successful. As for having to pay 5 dollars admission - who cares, it was worth every penny.
