manufacturing up to 500 cottages, to be distributed by Maisonette Home Products, we will establish ourselves as a premium provider of panelized, prefabricated home & cottage packages. This will increase the Company’s revenues and ensure the success of our long term vision and goals”.
Maisonette is in the advanced stages of negotiations with several developers in the United Kingdom. CEO Alain Ghiai says the first project is for a golf course in Britain and will feature homes with the log siding and timber accents. Ghiai is looking to expand the sales into Switzerland and France next, then on to Eastern European countries. "The quality of the Winton product is far and above the quality of lumber available in Europe, and our packages are competitively priced." says Ghiai, who heaped high praise on the Winton team "Never have I seen a company that was so well managed and so integrated in all facets of it's product development. My clients say this product is 10 times better than anything they have seen elsewhere."
The value of the contracts signed could bring up to a million dollars in sales and would allow Winton Global Homes to retain its talented workforce on a steady basis rather than seasonal as it has been in the past. Additionally, it allows Winton Global Homes to enter a brand new market and to put Prince George on the map!
